Dear All
Following the discussion on museums working with groups focusing on older people earlier in the year you may be interested to hear we have some free places on our Autumn Forum in Taunton on Dec 2nd: 'SW Fed Autumn Forum- Safeguarding the Past' . This forum is continuing the discussion on the social impact museums can make, as well as providing practical information on how to perform outreach with oral history and reminiscence, and on working with older people.
It will be a broad range of topics- we will touch on Arts & Health, WWI, commissioning and HLF funding so please check out the programme on our website at http://www.swfed.org.uk/news/latest-news/1253-join-us-for-our-autumn-forum-safeguarding-the-past. Event is free for all classes of membership and new members are welcome- see article etc for details. Non members can come for a £15 fee (although individual membership only costs £15). Book soon here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/sw-fed-autumn-forum-safeguarding-the-past-tickets-4890865711 as places are limited.
All the best
