Dear All,
Final call for next week's (14 May) GEM Yorkshire and Humberside Study Visit, FREE for members, £10 for non-members. This really exciting session coincides with the 100 Years of Stainless Steel celebration across Sheffield and is all about telling stories in different ways in museums. The day (from 10am) includes:
Lucy Cooper who is the Community Participation Officer for Abbeydale talking briefly about the upcoming project and using volunteers in telling the story of Abbeydale Works.
Chris Binns (Freelance actor and historian) who will be doing a new performance of Kellam Homer for which we would love participants' feedback.
Emily Capstick (Freelance storyteller and performer) who will be talking about the development of “Ironie” a puppet performance based on Harry Brearley’s book.
It will be a fantastic event, full of ideas and inspiration, so please come along - email [log in to unmask] for further details.
All welcome!
Best wishes,
Alex
Alex Woodall
