Dear Pete
I have undertaken a variety of research with schools across East of England, London and the South East over the past five years and I am afraid I haven’t found a single school that was bothered by the LOtC. As a result I do not recommend gaining accreditation to the organisations that I work with.
Best wishes
Claire

Subject: Learning Outside the Classroom Award
Just received an invitation to renew our subscription to LOtC and am wondering whether it's worth the £100. LOtC reports that the Dept for Education is endorsing the scheme and schools are searching the LOtC website for badge holders when planning visits, but we have no evidence that our school groups set any store by the award. I'm interested to know what people think.
Thanks
Pete
