Subject: [PSCI-COM] STEM engagement - will.i.am shows us how it's done
If you didn't catch Graham Norton's show on Friday night, then it's a
must on I-Player. I was completely taken by surprise as will.i.am
started talking about STEM education and its importance.
Not only has he raised $7m for a STEM school in his neighbourhood in LA,
but he also flagged up just how important STEM is to the future and,
just when I thought he couldn't get any better, he mentioned how
important STEM is for girls, as the 'leaders of tomorrow'.
He is now going to talk to the Prince's Trust, so let's hope some of his
work will impact on us here in Britain. The man is a complete star.
So next time someone wants a STEM video to inspire girls (and anyone
else), I'd recommend this brilliant producer and STEM supporter.
will.i.am: dope!*
Anita
