Further to Symeon Stylites the Younger:

If (in the article whose link John gives) Verdier is correct in stating
that all of the lead medallions are for Symeon the Younger rather than
the Elder, then this mold for a lead medallion must depict the Younger:

row 4, nos. 2 and 3. The channels for introducing molten metal and
letting air escape show that the mold is for metal, rather than for clay.
Incidentally, for the record, the position on a given archive page will
change over time as I add more material, but once I post an object I do
not remove it (except to replace with a better photo when I can) so it
will always be there and findable through the index.
best,
Genevra
