Thanks, Genevra. Even if Verdier is wrong about _all_ of the lead medallions being for Symeon the Younger, this particular mold would seem to depict that saint (and not Symeon the Elder). The flanking figure at left at the base of the column is identified inscriptionally as St. Conon (of Isauria); when he appears in conjunction with a pillar saint that pillar saint seemingly is always Symeon the Younger. For Conon on pilgrim's tokens see now Matthew J. Dal Santo, "Text, Image, and the “Visionary Body” in Early Byzantine Hagiography: Incubation and the Rise of the Christian Image Cult", _Journal of Late Antiquity_ 4 (2011), 31-54, p. 34.
The identifying inscription for the flanking figure at right at the base of the column is not so clearly legible. But what is legible accords with her being St. Martha the mother of Symeon the Younger.
Best again,
John Dillon
