Sports Heritage Symposium

This symposium aims to bring together all those with an interest in sports heritage. The event will enable delegates to hear about current best practice in interpreting sports heritage and discuss issues and solutions with other interested parties. It will take a European perspective and address key questions including:

• What are the alternatives to establishing a specialist sports museum or archive?
• How can those engaged in sports heritage best work in partnership?
• What role can communities play in interpreting their sports heritage?
• How can we best build on the success of Our Sporting Life?
Delegates will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the new National Football Museum.
