No success with that either:

syntax error at /star-kaulia/Perl/bin/perldoc line 2, near "if 0"
BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation aborted at
/star-kaulia/Perl/bin/perldoc line 7.

#!/usr/bin/env starperl
if 0;
# This "perldoc" file was generated by "perldoc.PL"
require 5;
BEGIN { $^W = 1 if $ENV{'PERLDOCDEBUG'} }
use Pod::Perldoc;
exit( Pod::Perldoc->run() );
Seems to be missing an "eval" line (compared to the system installed
version), but then there's the question how did "starperl" make it into
this script (some post install relocation hack?). BTW, see this in namaka
as well.
Cheers,
Peter.
