Hello Gemmers,
The Tower of London is looking for a model maker. We are developing a Key Stage 2 session that involves an activity about arches and how they are made.
This kit of construction materials (building blocks and supporting structure) challenges pupils to create an arch. The kit is designed to be assembled and disassembled. The excitement of the activity comes from removing the support structures, leaving a perfectly balanced arch.
Please see attached picture for the kind of model we are after. Two or three kits are needed.
Many thanks,
Catherine Jones

Historic Royal Palaces is an independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, the Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace. Although the palaces are owned by The Queen on behalf of the nation, we receive no funding from the Government or the Crown, so we depend on the support of our visitors, members, donors, volunteers and sponsors. Our aim is to help everyone explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society, in some of the greatest palaces ever built.
