Quick update: still no news from the British Library.
The City & Business Library reference librarians kindly confirmed me via email earlier Today "City Business Library does not have British Standards and nor do any of the other City of London Corporation's libraries" as I had imagined since I am a frequent user of their resources.
Nevertheless, the electronic resources manager that had sent me that info from a business school at University of London insisted in letting me know the link was "working fine" (on her intranet presumably, with her users), and therefore she was convinced the BSOL database IS accessible at the City & Business Library even if the Librarians say it is not. That's is behaviour quite typical among end users by the way. Never mind. I answered some links are like social media friends. Works fine but lead nowhere, forget them :)
Other two messages with potential share-able links to the resource came from info pro that are likely to have remote access because of peculiar licensing agreements in their own organisations but no idea that those links do not or should not work without a certain IP range or in absence of other authentication criteria.
To finish with an optimistic self promotional note: I am available to start up and implement simple and tailored cloud-aware copyright assurance policies on demand any time. It is possible. It can happen.
Have a good weekend all!
