medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear medieval-religion colleagues,
I am interested to know if there were any later medieval figures who
-- like Origen and Gregory of Nyssa, before them -- believed in
universal salvation, or apocatastasis, at the end of time.
I recall finding a reference, in the Dictionnaire de spiritualité, to
Vincent Ferrer having preached this. Does anyone know what the precise
reference to Vincent Ferrer might be?
And ... are there any similar late medieval texts that allow for the
possibility of all souls being in Heaven at the end of time?
Many thanks, George Ferzoco
