Hi!
I'm a PhD student at QUT, in Brisbane, Australia. I'm currently in the write up phase of my PhD, and am on a fairly tight timeline. As many of you will know Brisbane, and the rest of Queensland has bit hit by severe flooding. My campus is in the CBD, right next to the river (what used to be the ferry terminal: http://twitpic.com/3p6b8a) . I'm having to work from home, which isn't really a drama (I'm completely safe, I live on a hill). The problem for me is that the library servers have been turned off, and I can't sign in to the library and get access to any academic databases. I've been trying to do work without them, and rely solely on google scholar, but it is fairly limiting, and I can't gain access to a lot of the things I'm wanting to read. I'm expecting this to be the case for probably 5 days to a week.
What I'm asking for is ideally temporary access through another university to databases. If that is not possible, I would love some support in getting hold of pdf's of articles as I need them.
Please reply directly to me, I don't want to clog up the list with emails relating to this request.
Thank you all so much in advance.
