Dear All
I am currently putting the finishing touches to a training day for
Renaissance South East exploring Engaging Adult Audiences through programmes
and events (1 December in Oxford). I have got contributions for most of the
sessions secured but would still be interested in one more specific
contribution. In particular I am looking for:
€ a museum in the SE who has done interesting work in delivering Skills
for Life programmes with their Local Authority Adult Ed team (could be
Literacy, Numeracy etc, I don't mind which focus)
OR
€ a museum in the SE who has used their environment as an inspiration for
creative work as part of a course or programme. That might be a photography
course, an art masterclass, adult poetry workshops etc. I am interested in
either courses that can be charged for and therefore cover costs or examples
of working in partnership that meant costs were covered.
If your museum falls into either of these categories and you might be
interested in contributing to the training day, please get in touch. Equally
if you know of any museums you think might be worth me getting in touch with
please do let me know.
Best
Jo
