I've just been listening to "Unreliable Evidence" on Radio 4.
An interesting item, "Above the Law", about
the reasons why certain people, including MPs, judges,
diplomats, heads of state and even in some circumstances
criminals-turned-informants, seem to be "above the law"
and worth listening again at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00ryklq
if you missed it. However, what prompts this "heads-up" is
that, at the end, presenter Clive Anderson said that next
week's programme would be "about the Law of Libel".
If that has been prompted by a "topical issue", we may hear
interesting discussion about the questions which arose in the
Simon Singh case!
Best wishes to all,
Ted.
