promoting an exciting curriculum. With a focus on the importance of
teaching local history.

Friday 13 November
A practical and hands on development day that explores the use of
digital technology with groups and how to upload your digital resources
to the internet.
This event is free but booking is essential.
Due to the limited number of places available for these events, there
will be a charge of £20 for any individual cancelling less than one week
prior to the event for which they have booked or for failing to turn up
on the day.

Museum Learning Development Day

Drama and storytelling

This practical one-day workshop will lead you through a range of
activities that will help you bring your collections to life through the
power of storytelling and drama techniques. Use objects in South Shields
Museum & Art Gallery to develop your own stories and roleplay scenes,
and learn new methods to encourage the groups you work with to explore
their own imaginations.
The event is free of charge but booking is essential. Due to the limited
number of places available, there will be a charge of £20 for any
