Learning Outside the Classroom Training Day

A one day seminar to support visual arts organisations and galleries to
achieve the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.
The Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge is now live. The badge is a
nationally recognised accreditation that will be awarded to learning
providers who meet the requirements to provide and sustain high-quality
learning outside the classroom. The badge will be recognised by local
authorities and schools, who will be looking to use only those organisations
that hold the badge. In order to gain the badge you will have go through a
self-assessment process to demonstrate that you meet six quality indicators.
This training day will enable you to:
* Learn more about Learning Outside the Classroom
* Explore how your organisation meet the six quality indicators
* Analyse any gaps in your organisation’s provision
* Evaluate how close your organisation is to achieving the badge
* Find out about the self- assessment procedure and how to prepare materials
for your application
Places cost £45.00, including lunch and support materials.
