Dear Julia,
I helped with the design for a geology 'dig' table at Cromer Museum in North
Norfolk. It was several years ago now and my memory is not as good as it
should be.

All the best,

Subject: Archaeology 'dig' tables?
Hi everyone
We would like to create some archaeology 'dig' tables for a learning space -
tables that we can fill with clean digging materials for sessions, but when
not
in use we can stick a lid on and use them as ordinary tables.
I am conscious we will need to consider access, so that one can sit
underneath them properly whilst still being able to reach the digging areas,
but
feel that this is possibly not insurmountable in terms of a design.
Has anyone seen anything similar anywhere?
Julia
