I would suggest that "ramping" and "intervelometry" are terms that tend to
be used during the filming/videotaping process, in the same way that
"undercranking" and "overcranking" are used; however, I think that the term
"time remapping," refers specifically to a post-production process.
There's another old-school film term that I'm trying to recall...but my
brain just can't seem to dig it up at the moment. It's something akin to
"step printing"...but that's not quite it.
I'll keep thinking on it.
