Hi Henry, in my head my naive spectator would say, "Dude, how awesome
were those ramping aerial shots of Copenhagen in Quantum of Solace!" or 'I
got so sick of all that ramped motion blur they used for the vampire
movements in I am Legend"'.
I have actually read "RAMPING AERIAL OF INDUSTRIAL WASTELAND" as a
written visual under an opening voice over narration for television drama.
If I were writing a review or an article or running a workshop then I would use
more specific terms.
It's sad, but I have found technically naive spectators are a rarity in Gen-Y. I
blame the rise of the Special Features - something every distributor insists
upon having on their DVD releases these days.
