Dear GEM Members,
At Manchester Art Gallery, we are currently developing an interpretation
project around our Mary Greg collection of 'bygone times', a mass of mainly
domestic items, collected between 1920-1950 and consisting of dolls, toys,
keys, boxes, spoons etc. Part of the collection consists of the fascinating
correspondence between Mary and the then curator at the Art Gallery, William
Batho. There is a large volume of letters, both type written and hand
written, and we are currently looking to transcribe these so that we have
them digitised and can make them more widely accessible, and use them
possibly for more creative purposes.
Does anyone know of any transcription services in the Manchester area that
might be able to help is with this project?
Many thanks in advance,
Alex
