Seasons greetings to all our GEM friends
Some of the more mature GEM members may remember that way back in the
1980s I was the editor of the GEM Newsletter. It was so long ago that my
first effort was done on something called a typewriter (ask your
parents). In an idle moment and short of copy I penned a small poem
entitled The Museum Education Officer's Christmas. To spread a little
seasonal cheer I thought it might bear resurrection to your cluttered
Inboxes. Maximum enjoyment will be gained if you know that the National
Curriculum had just been introduced, Kenneth Baker was Education
Minister and Gail Durbin was the Chair of GEM.
cheers
