Hello Gemsters;
I'm about to leave the Local Authority I have worked for for 18 years. The
policy for references is to only give basic information about time-keeping,
sick and disiplinary records through the Personnel section, taking the
responsibility out of the managers' hands.
Does anyone else out there in Gemland know of this practice? I was
wondering how widespread, and what the reasoning behind such a policy is.
