Try the mulberry dyer at: http://www.mulberrydyer.co.uk/
They make a special , more robust, drop spindle for use with children
at around £5 each (depending on order size). They are not listed on the
website I believe so contact them directly.
If they can't help and you get stuck, come back to me and I might be
able to loan you our set.
