You will be responsible for developing and coordinating the Gallery’s award-winning Learning
programme for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 educators and children. You will be based
within the Learning and Interpretation Team at the Whitworth Art Gallery and will work closely
with a range of creative practitioners to offer an innovative and high quality learning experience
for pupils. Candidates should hold a degree in education, art/design history or other relevant
subject and have experience of teaching or have worked in a museum/gallery education
environment.
The Whitworth Art Gallery is part of the North West Museums Hub and this post is supported by
funding from MLA through Renaissance in the Regions.
The position is fixed term for 12 months to cover the maternity leave of the substantive
postholder.
