The discussion around the LOtC badge scheme is interesting but it strikes me
that if the badge is to have any value then it depends on the impact of LOtC
as a whole.
The QA research report that came out a short while ago indicated that the
manifesto had made minimal impact on teachers. Personally, from my time in
and with schools, I'd have to say that I've not seen any indication that it
is changing schools practices particularly.
I'd love to be wrong about this. Has anyone else come across signs that the
manifesto is having the desired impact?
