Dear Colleague
As part of their regional workshop programme, Netskills will be delivering the following workshops at Manchester University this May:
1. Collaborative e-Learning with Web 2.0 Tools, 13th May
-----------------------------------------------------
Communication and collaboration are key elements of the online learning process. Whilst many tools facilitate these activities, using them effectively requires careful design, planning and management.
This practical workshop will enable you to engage learners in collaborative learning through best use of the online environment.
2. Effective e-Learning with Moodle, 14th May
-----------------------------------------------------
The Moodle learning environment is becoming increasingly popular in the UK education sector. It is free to use, having been developed through the Open Software model, and is designed using sound pedagogical principles. This workshop introduces Moodle, its main features and demonstrates why Moodle is different from other learning environments.
You will be given access to your own installation of Moodle for 4 weeks after this workshop.
