Dear Tom,
A similar problem presents in Management Information Systems, particularly
in regard to user issues.
Search under 'Design Research in Information Systems' at www.isworld.org .
Michael D Myers of Auckland also collected together a fair bit of material
on www.isworld.org in 'qualitative research in IS'.
Best regards,
Terry

Subject: Qualitative (Design) Research Methods courses?
Hi all,
I would be interested to learn about how some of you teach qualitative
design research methods. If you had syllabi, course materials, or projects
you would be willing to share I would very much appreciate it.
My own experience has been that approaches taken directly from the social
sciences require a lot of adaptation to suit the needs of designers.
Thanks!
Tom Mitchell
