Dear John,
you should check, whether
- you are running out of disk space
- the folder with the data is writeable
- the fM* images are writeable
If you copied them from a read-only media (CD,DVD) then you probably have
to set write permissions first using e.g.
chmod -R +w /home/kornak/SPMtests
in a shell (not MATLAB!) command line.
