Dear colleagues,

I wish, if I may, to join and add a little emphasis to Ken's challenge.
Since we are aspiring to backing the designing activity with some scientific evidence, we indeed indulge in splitting hairs. For, as a reminder to those who never learned Latin, the term "science" (scindere) conveys the concept of splitting, here with the aim of knowing. And fortunately, as Ken points out, being so many of us engaged in such activity, our individual and collective knowing skills, ability, and knowledge capital, keep growing accordingly. So, let's keep on splitting even more hairs!
Yours,
François
