Yes, A great deal of Coppola's (Francis F.) list could be an architect
reminder, with adaptations. I like the idea (metaphor?) of flesh that, with
no formal or functional relation to what it means in this context says a lot
about designing and the designed stuff. I see and almost smell Terry's
reluctance for a world covered with words like an Escher engraving. The good
about words is the gaps and voids in between that especially promote
ambiguity as a relatively good world to live in. That's why I asked you
about "Lost in Translation".
By the way, "Indulgence" which, according to my Word dictionary, could be
also treat, luxury, extravagance, pleasure, excess, immoderation, for a neo
latin native immediately means "pardon" (The Popes used to sell indulgences
which annoyed a certain German priest called Luther. Which reminds me why
would anyone give an African American name to a German priest in the
sixteenth century?)
Thanks again.
I must go out and hunt those damned languges now, they have been pesting my
cattle for some days, now
Eduardo.
