Dear all
Science Links in Museum Education (SLIME) South East is a group of people with expertise, or interest, in developing and promoting Science in Museums.
Following on from the success of the FUNdamental Science Day in January SLIME are organising a FREE Primary Science Workshop Day at the River and Rowing Museum, Henley on Thames on 29th October.
The purpose of the training day is to give museum staff background information about the Primary Science Curriculum and practical ideas which they can take away to use with a school or family audience.
The day includes a Keynote Speech by Susan Cooper - Advisory Teacher for Primary Science in Oxfordshire County Council and the opportunity to take part in four workshops.
Workshops will include:
The Thing Bin, Earth and Beyond, Colours and Patterns, Acids and Alkalis and Coloured Cabbage, Teeth and Bones, George's Marvellous Medicine and much more....
If you would like to attend the FREE training day, please return the attached booking form as soon as possible.
Best wishes
Sharon
