medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear all,
I am teaching an undergraduate course on medieval warfare, and last time
one of the students asked about the occurrence of clerics in the
illustrated fighting manuals of the 14th and 15th century. The scope of the
course is Anglo-Norman warfare between 1066 and 1187, and the question
clearly exceeded my knowledge, but I promised to try to find out.
Would anyone have a further insight in this matter? Thanks a lot!
Best wishes,
Sini
