Coming rather late to this thread, all I an do is agree with Alison, &
the rest of you, that to even imply a defense of torture (which I was
reading on truthout yesterday has become too acceptable as now part of
the discourse, so therefor already the moral line has been despicably
lowered) as a way of 'defending' freedom & democracy is to have lost a
true sense of both....
