Hi All,
I'm in the process of writing a new children's activity book on Leeds Castle and would like to incorporate a section on 'reading portraits' as we have many lovely ones on display here and I think that they would provide valuable insights on image, politics etc of the time. The activity book is also going to be included in our new teacher's pack so I am keen to tie it in with the national curriculum where possible (citizenship for example.)
Unfortunately the ideal publication to help me with this topic (by Susan Morris) is now out of print and I can't get hold of a copy. Does anyone have any advice on how to tackle this subject or have done something similar in their museum?
I'd be grateful for any suggestions!
many thanks
Sam Bowen
