All

I don't know anything about the DVD colln, but you might want to look at the DfES-backed www.teachers.tv which has done a number of programmes on education and museums. Just type 'museum' into the search box, and there is also a specific 'Using Museums' set of programmes.

From the site you can see, download and freely use the programmes under a Creative Archive Licence (no commercial use etc). You don't need Freeview or to wait till they are shown again!!!!!

	INTRODUCING

	THE CHILDREN IN MUSEUM COLLECTION:

	Lessons from America

	Special Pre-Publication Offer: Save 10%!

26% of all visits to museums and galleries in the UK are made by children
(Overview of Data in the Museums - Museums, Libraries and Archives Council).

Children and families are an increasingly important core audience for any
museum or heritage attraction - educationally, socially and financially.

And yet, until now, there has been little practical information easily available
on how to improve the facilities and experience on offer to these key visitors.

Which is why we're launching The Children in Museums Collection - a fully
comprehensive library of DVDs and publications which provide an authoritative
overview of all the issues involving children in museums, galleries and heritage
	attractions.

You'll discover how to raise standards, increase visitor numbers, and learn what
really works for some of the most successful children's museums in the world.

Learn from some of the most experienced professionals. Discover different
perspectives and approaches from around the world. Find out about the
latest trends and developments in the United States. Gain real insights and
key advice on the issues that affect you.

The ideas, information and principles presented here are valid and helpful
regardless of the type of institution you're based at - science, art or history,
collection-based or experience-led, small independent or large national,
	historic house or science centre.

You'll find solutions to your problems and inspiration for the future whether
you're involved in interpretation, design, education, exhibitions, marketing,
multimedia, interactives or new technology. And regardless of whether you're
just starting in this area or are a veteran in the field, this DVD resource will
	help.

The Children in Museums Collection runs to over five information-packed hours
of interviews, case studies and practical advice.

	World Leading Practitioners
For this ground-braking DVD library we've brought together some of the world's
	leading practitioners in the field:

	* Carmen Vega - Executive Director, Museo del Nino de Puerto Rico

	* Carol Enseki - President, Brooklyn Children's Museum
	* Chuyi Wang - Project Executive, Children's Museum of Taipei
	* Connie Martinez - Executive Director, Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose
	* Jane Warner - Director, Children's Museum Pittsburgh
	* Jeri Robinson - Vice President of Early Childhood, Boston Children's Museum
	* Lynn McMaster - Programme & Planning Manager, Canadian Children's Museum
	* Shari Buckellew - Executive Director, Children's Discovery Museum, Illinois
	* Tom Downey - Executive Director, The Children's Museum of Denver
	* Wendy Blackwell - Director of Education, National Children's Museum, Washington

In candid and wide-ranging video interviews, you'll discover: how to attract
school and family visits; what are the most successful informal and formal learning
techniques; how to deal with difficult and controversial issues; the importance
of both object-led interpretation and play-based learning; and proven ideas for
the very best exhibition and gallery design for children.

There is nothing else like this. If you're involved or interested in any aspect of
children in museums, galleries, heritage attractions, science and discovery centres,
this important new DVD Collection gives you the advice, inspiration, guidance,
	and tools you need.

	Privilege Pre-Publication Offer: SAVE 10%
By ordering now, you will receive the full library in the form of 10 DVDs and a
CD volume of transcriptions absolutely packed with invaluable advice and
	information.

This special pre-publication offer is only available until Friday 28 July. We expect
The Children in Museum Collection to sell very fast - and to sell out.

Special Bonus DVD - first 100 oders will receive a special bonus DVD:

Order now and you'll receive a free DVD of our eagerly anticipated and highly
enlightening interview with Dr Ben Gammon - well-known and respected museum
consultant and former Head of Learning & Audience Development at the Science
	Museum, London.

So please avoid disappointment - if you are at all interested, make sure you place
	your order today!

Your Full One Year Satisfaction Guarantee
