Redbridge Museum - Temporary Museum Assistant - 6 Months Contract
£17,787 - £19,632
Required for September 2006 - March 2007 with possibility of extension
London Borough of Redbridge Leisure Services are seeking a confident and
organised individual to assist with the daily operation of its modern and
popular museum which is based in Ilford Central Library.
Your main role will be to undertake front of house and reception duties
which will include administration of the Museum's sales point and its events
bookings systems. You will also contribute to a range of museum activities.
You should be a good communicator and be comfortable talking to a diverse
audience from a range of ages and backgrounds. Good literacy and numeracy
skills are required and you should have an interest in museums and the
services they provide.
You will be required to work Tuesday - Saturday.
Interviews will be carried out on 15 August 2006
