medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I have been working on Medieval Arab influence in Medieval Europe but more
specifically in England. Your best guest is tantalizing. I can show that the
guitar came from the Amazight (formerly, politically incorrectly, 'Berbers')
through Spain before the 11th c. But stringed instruments that would be
better--if we can document it someway.
