I would guess that Alban is in the Roman Martyrology under today's date.
The "Santi Beati ..." website
http://www.santiebeati.it/
, which has been updated relatively recently to conform with the RM in
noting optional memorials, has him among the saints of today; as his
listing does not carry a "Memoria Facoltativa" ("Optional Memorial")
notice, I presume he's still on the calendar for all Latin-rite
Catholics of the Roman observance.
Paulinus of Nola, John Fisher, and Thomas More are all in the Optional
category. "Santi beati" saints of today not included in this year's
version of Phyllis' "column" are Gregory of Agrigento (on whom one is
likely to find something in the Archives from last year) and Julian
venerated at Rimini (d. 249 perhaps). The latter has a rather suspect
Passio as well as remains said to have arrived at Rimini in a sea-borne
coffin at some point during the period 962-68, guided thither by angels.
Best,
John Dillon
