Hi everyone
I've been asked by my line manager to create a Charging Policy for our
museum's public programmes (learning programmes, events, exhibitions,
corporate hire, etc).
As I'm starting from scratch, it would be really helpful to find out
what other museums charge (if anything) for the following activities:
a) Educational sessions with schools
b) Educational sessions with other groups
c) Tours
d) Lectures
e) Workshops
f) Short courses
g) Performances
h) Corporate hire
i) Filming rates
j) Birthday parties hire
k) Picture Library rates
l) Enquiries - research fee
m) Research - photocopy/admin fees
n) temporary/special exhibitions
Can you preface your answers with a brief description of your museum
(e.g. annual visitor figures, type of collection, number of staff) so I
can compare things accurately?
I'm happy to compile and circulate the responses.
Thanks
Carolyn Chinn
