Invitation to Tender: Succession Strategies for Volunteer Museums.
NEMLAC wishes to employ a individual / organisation to work with and
alongside non-Hub museums in North East England to develop
sustainable and effective use of volunteers.
The aims of this project are:
- To help volunteer-run and volunteer-dependent non-Hub museums
address barriers to succession that have arisen as a result of
declining volunteer numbers
- To enable the non-Hub museums to place then in a position to take
full advantage of Hub museum support mechanisms (e.g. Volunteer
Coordinator) from April 2006.
