Sounds great, pity it's all a bit too late in the year for me. I need to make a model of a green man face, between 75cm and 100cm in diameter, by the beginning of May. Research and sketch phase at the moment... I've various ideas about how to do it, most of which involve making a papier mache model on an armature (either formed chicken wire or built up on a large balloon). But the crucial part is the base face itself. The whole thing needs to be as light-weight and portable as possible. I've also been told about placing a tissue paper sheet on my face and then sticking gummed paper over to make the basic form (although that will be a bit small). Any other ideas?

Subject: Understanding the face at the Hunterian Museum
To Gem members
There are three workshops coming up in the next few weeks that may be of interest to Gem members. All are concerned with understanding more about the face, through sculpture and drawing.
