Hi
As part of my new job as a Heritage Education Officer I have been tasked
with overseeing the interpretation in a brand new visitor centre.
We have funding for boards and interactives (but no IT) and I was hoping
fellow list members might be able to tell me what visitor centres/museums
they would recommend that I take a look at with a view to forming an idea of
the best kind of innovative non-IT interactive and non-interactive
interpretation around at the moment. Perhaps you could also indicate what it
was that made that interpretation particularly effective in your opinion.
We have a great opportunity here to really try to 'get it right' so any
advice you can offer would be very gratefully received - even if it's along
the lines of what not to do!
Many thanks
Kind regards
Leigh Driver
