Julie,
You can find film and photographs at British Pathe
(http://www.britishpathe.com/). Short low resolution clips are available
free so you can see what you need. There are provisions for different
types of usage, and it's not just UK WWII.

Can anyone help?
We would like to show some film over the summer when we have the touring
exhibition Their Past Your Future. These would obviously be free and
have some link to the theme (and therefore an educational link!) but
where do I go to get permission? Many of them will have already been
shown on the television (ie. Goodnight Mr Tom, Battle of Britain, 633
Squadron, Great Escape to name but a few).
I am also keen to get some original film footage from the war to show -
any suggestions?
Looking forward to the replies!
Thanks
