(full-time - 36 hours)
Grade SO1, £24,792-£26,235 plus additional pay for occasional weekend
working, performance related pay and final salary pension scheme.

Are you an enthusiastic and organised educator who wants to work in a museum
environment ? Join our professional team to further develop the Education
and
Outreach Services for Wandsworth Museum, a modern and well-resourced local
history museum based at the Courthouse, Garratt Lane, London SW18. You will
have a wide range of opportunities, from teaching pre-school children to Key
Stage 4, delivering weekend and holiday activities for families, working
with
community groups, developing our oral history project, recording and
exploiting
reminiscence material, and encouraging the exploitation of ICT to increase
access to museum resources and our collections.
You need:
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Enthusiasm for working with all age groups, abilities and
backgrounds
· A postgraduate teaching or museum studies qualification with two
years
teaching experience in a school museum or gallery.
· A good attendance record
