Community Education Officer, £19460 to £21640 pro rata, 2 year part-time (0.5) contract
We are seeking a Community Education Officer to work across four of the University of
Oxford museums, Ashmolean Museum, Museum of the History of Science, Pitt Rivers Museum
and the University Museum of Natural History. S/he will be IT literate, possess excellent
communication skills, and be enthusiastic about the work of the Education Service and the
University of Oxford Collections. S/he will work with the Volunteer and Events Coordinator
and other members of the Education Service to plan, develop and deliver outreach activities
within the community on behalf of all the museums. The primary target audience will be
adult groups and community groups with access or social exclusion issues.
