medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I find a lot of patristic material, not all of it authentic, quoted in
the Catena aurea of Thomas Aquinas.
You might look there.

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and
culture
Dear George, The Latin passage is quoted in a French ms. which is a
very long
treatise on paradise and hell. The title of the work is Livre de la
Vigne
Nostre Seigneur, date 1450 x1470. The work is anonymous. The Latin
quotes
come from a section dealing with the last judgement. The name of the
author in
the ms is spelled Crisostom. I could not find the passage in CETEDOC
or PL.
"Unfortunately, I do not know where the anon. writer wrote, or what
libraries
he or she used. Thanks for any help. All best, Marijim
