there exist, in the city museum, several mid-12th(?) century pilasters from (i
think) the cloister of St. Martin d'Ainay, which have quite nice "column
figures" (or, "pilaster figures") carved on them.
stylistically they are of great interest, and i have, for years (decades,
actually), been trying to find a decent publication of them.
does anyone happen to know of one?
