I would be interested in comparing my salary, which I believe has not kept
pace
with the nature of the job. I am an admin assistant, providing secretarial
services,
financial processing etc to 3 curators. I am also filling the function of
documentation
assistant, having designed and implemented the catalogue database here.
Plus any other tasks commensurate, including front of house cover. I get
£14,300 p.a. for a 37 hr week.
Any comments?
Thanks
Carol

The documentation assistant's salary is stated as a fixed annual amount, not
as a pro rata figure. At 15 hours per week it works out at £9.43 per hour,
which over a 37.5 hour week is £18,388.
Best wishes
Nicola

Yet again I am shocked by the pay scale for this job, although
amazingly it is not the education job that is the problem, it's the
documentation Assistant's post - how can anyone afford to be paid such a
pittance?
