Dear Colleagues
I have been encouraged by local Hepatologist to move to an enzymatic method
for the measurement of cearuloplasmin as it is thought to be more
appropriate in the diagnosis and management of Wilson's.
Do any other centres use an enzyme method? if so, which manufacturer and is
it used on any of the major analytical automated platforms?
There do not appear to be any users of an enzymatic method in the NEQAS
protein scheme.
Many thanks
