A question from a research registrar with which I would be grateful for
some help, from someone with more knowledge about enzymes and their
organ specificity than I possess!
He has been looking at the LDH gene as a cancer marker. Using an
antibody he has detected the isoenzyme, LD5 in kidney tubules.
Q1 Is LD5 found in renal tubules or is his antibody specificity poor?
Q" Is there a tissue where LD5 is not expressed?
Thank you
Janet
